A one day workshop for gymnastics coaches designed  to optimise physical prep for health, performance & career longevity

 

The day will consist of evidence & experience based discussion & practical workshops for gymnastics coaches about key fundamental principles for strength & conditioning in order to optimise physical preparation in gymnasts.

Including:

  • Optimising landing mechanics for injury prevention

  • Strength & power exercises for gymnasts

  • Postural stability & core control to help protect the lumbar spine

  • New approaches to ankle, shoulder & hip mobility

  • How to periodise around competitions

  • Screening & assessment

  • Optimising metabolic conditioning
